Connected Logistics is looking for a Security Control Assessor Representative (SCAR) to support the U.S. Airforce Academy (USAFA) Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Cybersecurity Services.
This role shall take direction and implement tasks from the SCA and/or AO office. The individual shall be skilled and capable of performing the role of SCAR for the USAFA, defining an assessment team.
The SCAR shall assess security controls on behalf of the USAFA defined Security Controls Assessor (SCA), in accordance with the SAP.
SCARs will develop the SAP and validate assessment results provided by the ISSOs or other security personnel. Additionally, SCARs will review the information system's Security Assessment Package and document their findings in a SAR along with the organization/information system risk assessment. Moreover, ISSM responsibilities will include, but is not limited to, its role definition defined within DoDI 8500.01(Cyber Security), 8510.01 (Risk Management Framework for Air Force Information Technology), and AFI 17-101 (Risk Management Framework for Air Force Information Technology).

Salary. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We offer a comprehensive benefits package; The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.

Requirements
- 10 years of experience
- B.S. Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited or Certified Association Executive (CAE) designated institution
- T3 Investigation
- Current DOD 8140 certification such as CISM or CISSO or CPTE or CySA+ or FITSP-A or GCSA or CISA or CISSP or CISSP-ISSEP or GSLC or GSNA
