We are seeking a Senior Technical Writer to support a DoD contract by developing mission-critical documentation and visual communication materials. The ideal candidate has a strong background in classified environments and understands SAP security protocols, ICD 705 compliance, Cloud Environment, and CAP intelligence documentation.
The role requires clear, structured writing combined with visual storytelling, ensuring technical concepts, security policies, and operational procedures are effectively conveyed to DoD and intelligence community stakeholders.
Required Skills
5-8 years of experience in technical writing for DoD or intelligence community programs.
3+ years supporting DoD/IC contracts involving classified documentation and security policies.
Expertise in physical security, program security, and classification management.
Experience developing SAP security documentation, SIC/JADE account records, and access management processes.
Strong knowledge of ICD 705, SAP access procedures, DoD classification guides, and IC policies.
Desired Skills (Optional)
Experience with program protection, indoctrination procedures, and CAP intelligence documentation.
Background in security operations, intelligence reporting, or classified document management.
Familiarity with SharePoint, Confluence, or document collaboration platforms.
Ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly and concisely for multiple audiences.
