The Level 3 CNO Reverse Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:.
Required Skills
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., computer science, information systems, and network engineering) from an accredited college or university and 12 years of relevant experience in the field (e.g., computer science, information systems, and network engineering) to include seven (7) years of demonstrated experience in either hardware or software. reverse engineering, four (4) years of experience programming CNO tools and techniques, and six (6) years of experience programming in Assembly, C, C#, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
A Master's degree in a relevant discipline may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, reducing the requirement to 10 years of relevant experience to include six (6) years of demonstrated experience in either hardware or software reverse engineering, three (3) years of experience programming CNO tools and techniques, and five (5) years of experience programming in Assembly, C, C#, C-H-, Java, Perl, or Python.
In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, an additional four (4) years of relevant experience in the field may be substituted for a total of 16 years to include eight (8) years of demonstrated experience in either hardware or software reverse engineering, five (5) years of experience programming CNO tools and techniques, and seven (7) years of experience programming in Assembly, C, C#, c++, Java, Perl, or Python.
- Program in Assembly, C, C#, Java, Perl, or Python
- Administer and use hardware and software reverse engineering tools
- Program using CNO tools and techniques
- Use software version control tools (e.g., Subversion and CVS)
- Create and brief technical presentations
- Provide/author and participate in technical presentations on assigned projects
