Duties
Help
  • Leads the CMO's (Contract Management Office) implementation and execution of quality assurance operations.
  • Serves as senior managerial, advisory, and technical functional authority for the Quality Group and is responsible for providing leadership/direction for all aspects of the CMO's quality mission.
  • Reviews work products of subordinate staff and provides technical guidance.
  • Establishes, directs, and monitors CMO quality efforts to ensure efficient, effective contract administration support is provided to program offices and buying commands.
  • Exercises human capital oversight for the technical workforce to recruit, train and develop competencies necessary for mission accomplishment.

Qualifications

To qualify for a Supervisory Quality Assurance Specialist position your resume and supporting documentation must support:

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position. To qualify for the NH-04 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-03 or GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
  • Supervising a group of employees responsible for the technical aspects of quality assurance.
  • Providing advice, guidance, or training on technical quality assurance issues to junior employees through subordinate supervisors.
  • Assessing/recommending internal policies, practices, or procedures on technical aspects related to quality assurance.


Education

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.

Selectee must also achieve 80 hours of Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every 2-years and sign a written agreement to remain in Federal service in the position for at least three years.
