MTSI is seeking an experienced ADA Modules Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support advanced air system development and integration. This role focuses on providing technical guidance and implementation expertise for Avionics Design Architecture (ADA) modules, enabling mission-critical software and hardware components to operate within modular open system environments. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with ADA framework implementation, software integration, and system-level architecture alignment in DoD or aerospace platforms.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical expert for ADA module design, integration, and lifecycle support.
- Support the implementation of modular architecture standards across mission systems software and avionics components.
- Collaborate with government and industry stakeholders to ensure ADA modules align with platform and system requirements.
- Provide input to interface control documents (ICDs), software integration plans, and technical design artifacts.
- Participate in program reviews, working groups, and design reviews to support government decision-making.
- Contribute to validation and verification of ADA-based systems within simulation, lab, and operational test environments.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience supporting avionics or mission systems software development, with emphasis on modular architectures.
- Expertise in ADA module implementation and integration with open system platforms.
- Familiarity with MIL-STD interface requirements and model-based system design.
- Strong communication skills and experience supporting government acquisition programs.
- Must possess an active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI.
Desired
- Experience with Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA), FACE, or OMS/UCI architectures.
- Background in systems integration for aircraft or C2 platforms.
- Familiarity with MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo), SysML modeling, or digital engineering environments.
- Experience supporting AFLCMC, OSD, or advanced aviation acquisition programs.
- Technical certifications in architecture frameworks or system integration are a plus.
