Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO

Work Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday
Travel: Up to 10% of the time

Position Summary:
The Cyber Tools Lead supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.

Key Responsibilities:
The candidate will:
  • Work with hardware engineers, software engineers, and test teams developing, testing, and deploying cyber tools for compliance initiatives.
  • Configure, troubleshoot and maintain Cyber Tools including but not limited to ACAS, ESS, EVAL/STIG, ArcSight, Delinea and Elastic.
  • Must be Familiar with eMASS, CTOs, ATOs, POAMs.
  • Must have experience with consolidating reports from Cyber Tools to include but not limited to ACAS, ESS, ArcSight, EVAL/STIG
  • Must have experience with STIGs, patching and Security Classification Guides
  • Coordinate actions and efforts needed with appropriate team members, internal and external teams, customers, stakeholders and leaders to effectively execute tasks, solve problems and develop solutions with minimal to no mission impact.
  • Brief Government and Contract Leadership in a confident, concise and professional manner.
  • Conduct assessments of information systems security requirements, evaluate current security posture and recommend priorities for remediation.
  • Review information system infrastructure and application architecture to assess security requirements.
  • Contribute to the security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification and awareness activities of CLAW systems.
  • Gather data and prepare documentation in support of patching and STIGs to support the cyber compliance of CLAW systems.
  • Understand security vulnerabilities in various SW and HW platforms and be able to recommend mitigations.
  • Coordinate with Information System Security Officer (ISSO), Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Cyber Vulnerability Management Team (VMT) to meet Cyber requirements.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate planning, documentation, and mitigation efforts to address security controls to support Cyber events such as CVTs, CVPA, and ATOs.
  • Lead training and mentor tools engineers, focusing on maintaining tools compliance with DoD and organizational standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Must have 10, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
  • Must have associate's degree in any Information Technology related field
  • Must have 4, or more, years of Cyber Security and/or IT experience
  • Must be familiar with eMASS, CTOs, ATOs, POAMs.
  • Must have experience with consolidating reports from Cyber Tools to include but not limited to ACAS, ESS, ArcSight, EVAL/STIG
  • Must have experience with STIGs, patching and Security Classification Guides
  • Must have a current DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II certification

Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in an IT related discipline
  • Prior experience with Missile Defense Agency

Compensation:
Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 annually. Final compensation is based on experience, education, and directly relevant certifications.
