BAE Systems is seeking a Manager II with solid, demonstrated leadership qualities who will be responsible for managing a team of Program Finance personnel which is part of a growing Product Line. You will provide day to day oversight and leadership to, not only the finance team, but to all the members of the team that support the programs within your portfolio. Leveraging your strong leadership, you will provide financial decision support to stakeholders focused on minimizing risks and maximizing return of program profit by managing financial requirements and program execution.

In this job, you will:
  • Develop financial forecasts for your aspect of the Product Line by coordinating closely with your finance team, your Program Managers and your Product Area Directors.
  • Work independently, but in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to your finance team and work to develop them in their careers.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to interface with Program Management Organization (PMO) team and others, including; program managers, technical staff, subcontractors and customers in support of PMO activities.
  • Be responsible for the oversight of program startups and closeouts, as well as monthly program revenue, cost management and profit recognition over the life of the programs within your portfolio.
  • Support project execution by performing financial analysis and other program support related to the technical and business resources needed to achieve program objectives - this includes pre and post award program activities, from inception through closeout.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to your team relative to the monitoring, controlling and reporting of programs.
  • Provide leadership and guidance in the preparation of status reports and other program finance and administrative analysis and reporting.
  • Support proposal development, submission and negotiations inclusive of preparing and reviewing basis of estimates and business cases.
  • Partner to the Product Area Director and act on their behalf, when needed.
  • Work directly for the Finance Director of the Product Line and act on their behalf, when needed.


Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • Prior experience with Oracle and Hyperion.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).
  • Earned Value (EV) Management Certification and EV Tools.
  • Must be a self-starter with strong problem-solving, analytical and in-depth research skills. Be self-motivated with a bias for action, process/results oriented.
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written.
  • Be able to prioritize and self-manage a multitasked workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures.
  • Be detailed oriented and meticulous record-keeping skills.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $132000 - $224400

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
