Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing moderately complex events, including logistics coordination, scheduling, and resource management
- Coordinates with teams/vendors for event planning to include scheduling meeting, reserving meeting/venues, AV support, transportation and preparation
- Supports development and dissemination of event materials such as agendas, invitations, and signage
- Assist with budgeting, procurement tracking, and contract, vendor compliance
- Provides on-site event support, including registration management setup, and troubleshooting
- Collects post-event feedback and contribute to after-action reporting
- Maintains event documentation, timeline and action items
Qualifications
Required:
- Associate 's degree in Hospitality , Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field
- Experience may substitute for formal education based on DoD guidelines
- 4-9 years of experience supporting event planning or administrative coordination
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage concurrent tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired:
- Bache lor 's degree in related field
- Experience supporting events in government or military environments
- Familiarity with federal travel and event approval regulations
- Experience with online registration and collaboration tools
- Certified Meeting Professional or equivalent
Clearance:
- Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
Certification:
- DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role
- CompTIA Security+ CE
