Responsibilities:
- Manages and documents evolving requirements and mission changes while supporting the development of comprehensive plans and technical documentation
- Gathers, documents, and updates requirements to reflect mission changes and evolving organizational needs
- Collaborates with stakeholders to validate that requirements align with strategic objectives
- Tracks changes to mission goals, technical specifications, and organizational priorities to keep documentation current
- Assists in evaluating the impact of changes on existing plans and workflows
- Works closely with technical teams to incorporate technical details into project plans and documentation practices
- Validate plans include accurate technical specifications, workflows, and dependencies
- Develops and maintain templates, guidelines, and frameworks for consistent documentation
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement and recommends updates to documentation practices
- Prepares and delivers reports summarizing changes, requirements, and associated impacts
- Facilitates communication between technical teams and stakeholders to promote clarity and alignment
Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree in Business, Information Systems or related field
- 4-9 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or DoD related environments
- Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe environments
- Proficient in business process modeling, workflow tools, and requirements documentation
- Familiarity with DoD information systems and environments
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal communication skills
Desired:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Experience using tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow
- Experience supporting programs aligned with DoD Architecture Framework
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and communicating with both technical and non technical stakeholders
- Certified Business Analysis Professional or Project Management Institute - Professional in Business Analysis Certification
- Agile Certification (Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent
- ITIL v4 Foundations or higher
Clearance:
- Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
Certification:
- DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role
- CompTIA Security+ CE
