Overview

WiSC Enterprises is seeking a forward-thinking Policy & Strategic Planning Analyst to support the development and execution of long-range strategies that enhance national security mission success. This role requires strong experience in policy analysis, strategic frameworks, and investment planning-along with the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders to shape the future direction of programs, capabilities, and priorities.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the identification, development, and implementation of long-term policy, analytic, and operational strategies to enhance mission effectiveness
  • Assist in strategic planning efforts across systems, processes, and capabilities, aligning organizational initiatives with broader national security objectives
  • Contribute to the creation of investment strategies and recommendations to guide resource allocation, technology integration, and capability advancement
  • Perform gap analysis, trend forecasting, and strategic risk assessments to inform decision-making and prioritization
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, technical teams, and policy stakeholders to ensure alignment between mission execution and strategic goals
  • Develop briefings, white papers, and strategic planning documentation for internal and external stakeholders
  • Cultivate NASIC, Department of the Air Force, and Intelligence Community (IC)-wide collaboration to enable Government efforts to maintain cognizance of current analytical methodologies, strategies, and processes
  • Collaborate across the center, service, and IC to enhance understanding and appreciation of requirements, processes, programs, and capabilities.
  • Support cross-organizational operational activities to inform and influence decision-making and resource allocation
  • Advises senior NASIC leaders on complex policies and strategies to achieve tactical and strategic organizational objectives
  • Develops and presents briefings to executives and senior level customer personnel
  • Support activities to identify, develop, and execute analytic, system, process, and investment strategies to achieve long-range objectives to enhance mission execution and success.


Required Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI required
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience providing technical advisory support for DoD and/or IC organizations. OR
    • Master's degree with 10+ years of experience providing technical advisory support for DoD and/or IC organizations preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 18+ years of experience providing technical advisory support for DoD and/or IC organizations in lieu of a degree.
    • Familiarity with intelligence or defense mission planning, investment strategies, or enterprise-level transformation initiatives
    • Experience supporting long-term planning and execution frameworks within government or defense agencies
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate complex issues into actionable strategies
    • Exceptional writing and briefing skills with experience presenting to senior stakeholders
    • Ability to synthesize policy, operational, and technical information to inform planning decisions
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strategic planning tools
    • Very strong oral and written communication skills
    • Experience interacting with and providing guidance for senior personnel
    • Experience supporting NASIC (highly preferred)
    • Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction
    • Ability to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnel
