MITRE | Europe & Africa Regional Operations (N552) delivers mission-driven innovation and operational advantage across one of the world's most dynamic security environments. Based in Stuttgart, Germany, and operating alongside U.S. European Command (USEUCOM) and U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), our team works at the intersection of allied defense strategy, advanced technologies, and coalition readiness.
As a forward-deployed team embedded with senior leadership at USEUCOM and partner commands, we play a critical role in enhancing joint and combined warfighting capabilities across domains-from integrated fires and operational C2 to multi-domain awareness and theater-level experimentation. By partnering with the U.S. Department of Defense, NATO, and key allies across Europe and Africa, we bring cutting-edge solutions to today's most complex operational challenges-while strategically positioning the force for future competition and conflict.
N552 bridges real-world operational gaps with data-informed analysis, coalition interoperability efforts, and system-of-systems integration. We support live operations, joint exercises, and future force design while shaping the development and application of emerging defense technologies across the theater. This is hands-on work in a high-stakes region-delivering mission impact where it matters most.
If you're ready to contribute to national and allied security at the operational edge-across some of the most strategically vital terrain on Earth-join N552 and help shape the future of integrated deterrence in Europe and Africa.
