To qualify for a Strategic Analyst your resume and supporting documentation must support:
One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE:The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has established a Drug-Free Federal Workplace Policy. All applicants tentatively selected for DLA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment. Applicants who refuse to be tested will be denied employment with DLA for a period of six months. Help
- Develops the regional strategic plan with DLA Troop Support Europe and Africa (E and A) leadership.
- Creates and executes plans of actions and milestones (POAM) related to the goals of the strategic plan.
- Prepares a variety of communications detailing organizational events and accomplishments related to the mission and functions to the strategic plan.
- Drafts correspondence and briefings between DLA Troop Support E and A other organizations; such as other DLA activities, the DoD, Combatant Commands, Military Commands and the general public.
- Serves as the administrator for electronic records management within DLA Troop Support E and A.
- Working with the DLA Troop Support HQs Public Affairs Officers, the incumbent serves as a Public Affairs Liaison Specialist with responsibility of assisting in the planning, executing, designing, maintaining...CONT

- Facilitates the coordination with leadership in developing strategic goals for the organization's mission
- Drafts, implements and monitors POAMs related to strategic planning.
- Develops Command briefings and associated messaging via multiple platforms; such as social media, websites, information papers, FACT sheets, etc.
- Manages organizational information and records, formally using National Archives and Records Administrative (NARA) and DLA records schedules.
