Job Title: IT Construction Site Security Manager (SSM)
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility

IT Construction Site Security Manager (SSM)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Construction Site Security Manager (SSM) to serve as the primary security point of contact for a secure facility construction project.
Security POC who ensures the facility is constructed IAW our Construction Security Plan included but is not limited to; visitor control, badging of contractors, acceptance/screening of construction deliveries, spot checks for prohibited items, photography of daily construction progress, liaison with the TEC Security Team and on-site General Contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and enforce all security measures outlined in the Construction Security Plan (CSP).
• Act as the lead security liaison between the project team, the TEC Security Team, and the on-site General Contractor.
• Manage visitor access, including logging, escorting, and clearance verification.
• Issue and track badges for construction contractors, ensuring compliance with access control protocols.
• Conduct screening and acceptance of construction deliveries to prevent the introduction of unauthorized materials or devices.
• Perform spot checks for prohibited items and ensure adherence to site security policies.
• Document and photograph daily construction progress, capturing any deviations or security concerns.
• Maintain and update all required logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Coordinate with other security personnel and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain site integrity.
Required Qualifications:
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in physical security, facility security, or construction security, preferably supporting classified projects.
• Knowledge of CSP protocols, ICD 705, and relevant DoD or Intelligence Community security standards.
• Experience working in coordination with general contractors and federal security teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage daily interactions on a construction site.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to maintain thorough documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience as a Site Security Manager (SSM) on a classified construction project.
• Familiarity with access control systems, and secure facility standards.
• Training or certification in industrial security or construction site security protocols.
