Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to guide the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise-grade software applications supporting dynamic data integration, visualization, and decision-making across a secure, cloud-hosted environment. This role will lead a collaborative Agile development team delivering scalable solutions that integrate government, commercial, and custom-built components.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead Agile software development efforts across a suite of integrated applications in a Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
• Design and develop scalable, secure web applications using C#, .NET, SQL, JavaScript, and Azure PaaS.
• Integrate and maintain GOTS, COTS, and custom-built modules while ensuring interoperability and data standard compliance.
• Guide team execution through planning, code reviews, and mentoring.
• Collaborate with data stewards and stakeholders to implement data governance, federation, and visualization capabilities.
• Support embedded training features and end-user documentation to promote system adoption.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Bachelor’s or higher in Engineering, Science, or IT.
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• 10+ years of full-stack software development experience, including leading enterprise-level projects.
• Expertise in C#, ASP/.NET, SQL, JavaScript, Azure PaaS, Dynamics 365.
• Strong experience with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps principles.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and integrating structured/unstructured data.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Experience in DoD environments or IL5/IL6 cloud instances.
• Knowledge of ITIL, data governance, and federated data standards.
• Background in architecture frameworks and metadata management.
