About the Role:

Aquila Technology is seeking a Software Engineer t o join our team in supporting one of the country's premier defense research organizations. The Software Engineer will be responsible for porting existing software from old to new platforms, there will also be implementation of new signal processing algorithms in real-time code, as well as an effort to improve the performance of wind-shear detection algorithms through testing with weather radar data collected by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

There are a few requirements for the position:

• Must be a U.S Citizen- Must have an active Secret/Top Secret Clearance in order to be considered (Green Cards / Visas do not qualify)
• Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance. (Aquila would sponsor you for the security clearance.)
• Fully Remote- may be asked to take up to 4 trips per calendar year to Lexington if the program/project requires it.

Interview Process: 1st round interview will be a Zoom with the hiring manager. The 2nd round interview will be a Zoom with additional team members as needed.
