We are seeking a dynamic leader to spearhead the development of data-driven solutions to address complex business challenges. This role requires a blend of analytical, statistical, and programming expertise to clean, aggregate, and analyze large datasets, interpreting results to drive strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of ETL practices, statistical techniques, and machine learning algorithms, with the ability to prioritize tasks, synthesize actionable insights, and effectively communicate findings to diverse audiences.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $64 - $74 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the complete analytics life-cycle, including requirements gathering, problem formulation, data grooming, data exploration, model prototyping, model validation, and algorithm implementation, particularly in the context of 5G and WiFi data networks.
  • Conduct large-scale exploratory data analyses to discover new data sources or innovative uses for existing data, establishing links and uncovering interesting correlations.
  • Develop and maintain data dashboards to support various project requests and strategic mobile product initiatives.
  • Perform complex data enrichments, leveraging a deep understanding of data structures, database architectures, and data ingestion techniques, including APIs.
  • Document all development work thoroughly to maintain comprehensive work product descriptions and historical records.
  • Exercise thought leadership in selecting tools, approaches, and data to address specific problems effectively.
  • Deliver presentations with recommendations based on key insights, guiding the path forward.
  • Educate and mentor a diverse group of business intelligence, data, and analytics professionals on techniques and tools.
  • Create project plans to help the team achieve defined goals within deadlines, proactively communicating status and escalating issues as needed.
  • Maintain a detailed record of progress and a journal of projects for historical reference.

Experience Requirements:
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding)
  • Expert-level skills in Python, SQL, ESRI, Alteryx, Tableau, and/or other data visualization tools
  • Advanced skills in one or more scripting, analysis, or ETL languages, with the ability to quickly learn new languages or techniques
  • Familiarity with modern machine learning technologies and tools for producing model scoring code
  • Expert-level logical and analytical skills
  • Broad experience and a solid theoretical foundation in major families of machine learning models (e.g., regression, decision trees, clustering, SVMs, neural networks)
  • Command of advanced mathematical concepts, including calculus, PDEs, probability, and statistics, with the ability to independently learn additional concepts as needed
  • Strong synthesis and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate results and recommendations to a wide variety of audiences
  • Basic understanding of data architecture, data warehouses, and data marts
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to continually expand skill set, and learn from and teach others
  • Extensive experience with large datasets and tools for obtaining, transforming, and storing data on Big Data and streaming services
