Sr. Backend Java Developer

Description:
Our leading Financial Services client is looking to hire an experienced Java developer to build backend services and support internal fraud application systems.

This role will require someone to work on site in Cincinnati, Ohio on a full-time basis

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60-70/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities Can Include:

• Managing Java/Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.
• Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
• Designs and develops code by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle.
• Determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products.
• Designing and conducting tests.
• Troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
• Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.

Experience Requirements:
MUST HAVE SKILLS

- 5+ Years of Java Development

- Development on OpenSystems Window and/or Linux

- Spring Boot/ Spring Framework

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

- Banking/Financial Services Background

- ETL (DataStage, DBT)

- Managing Vendor Systems and Platforms

- OpenShift

- Snowflake
