Senior Scala/Java/Python/Spark Engineer

We need a data focused full stack professional with strong data engineering and streaming technology experience willing to work a 6 month contract for a client seeking a professional to hit the ground running

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $70 - $75 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Develop awesome stuff with Spark, Java, Python, Kafka, Spring Batch Services
• Work with monitoring/scheduling/debugging tools in ETL ecosystems
• Work with data warehouses and data lakes in both RDBMS / NoSQL systems (Cassandra/Mongo/Yugabye AND tools such as Postgres/Oracle/MySQL/SQL Server)
• Work within the cloud (AWS/Snowflake/Azure) to perform engineering tasks related to Java applications, Data APIs, and data movement

Experience Requirements:

• 10+ progressive years of experience working with Java, Scala, Amazon tools (EMR / other distributed database related technologies in the cloud)
