MV-22 Aircraft Modification & Maintenance Technician

Contract Position

$35.89-$43.93/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Independently perform assembly, disassembly, and repair of V-22 aircraft components using established aerospace maintenance practices and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and replace components to ensure product serviceability and system integrity.
• Conduct diagnostic testing and fault isolation using manual and automated test equipment to resolve issues in mechanical or electrical systems.
• Perform modifications and system upgrades to aircraft in compliance with technical specifications.
• Coordinate and execute validation/verification testing to confirm system serviceability.
• Use detailed documentation procedures to record repairs, inspections, and modifications, ensuring compliance with contract and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve discrepancies and validate technical documentation and procedures.
• Conduct visual inspections to verify part cleanliness and serviceability prior to installation.
• Adhere to general aviation safety and maintenance standards, including FOD control, tool accountability, and health/safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
• Experience:
  
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant aviation maintenance experience.
  • Hands-on experience with V-22 Maintenance and Modification.
• Preferred Skills:
  
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
  • Prior Depot-level modification experience.
  • Background in Quality Assurance practices.
• Travel:
  
  • Must be able to travel up to 30%, sometimes with short notice, to domestic sites including U.S. military bases and Hawaii.
  • Willingness to travel is mandatory
