Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior IFF Program Specialist to provide technical expertise and leadership in the development, integration, and support of advanced Combat Identification (CID) and Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) systems. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive military operational experience, deep technical knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure the interoperability and effectiveness of critical defense systems. They will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and NATO allies to develop and implement solutions that enhance situational awareness, prevent fratricide, and improve overall operational effectiveness.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior IFF Program Specialist to provide technical expertise and leadership in the development, integration, and support of advanced Combat Identification (CID) and Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) systems. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive military operational experience, deep technical knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure the interoperability and effectiveness of critical defense systems. They will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and NATO allies to develop and implement solutions that enhance situational awareness, prevent fratricide, and improve overall operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in Combat Identification (CID) technologies and operational concepts.
- Apply 20+ years of military operational experience in Combat ID to inform design, development, and testing efforts.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance in the integration of Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) and Command and Control (C2) systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with NATO partners to ensure interoperability of CID systems and adherence to NATO standards.
- Participate in NATO working groups and committees, contributing to the development of NATO STANAG and other relevant documents.
- Provide expertise in Operational Mode 5 implementation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support for Air Traffic Control (ATC) and Air Operations related to CID systems.
- Analyze performance data and identify areas for improvement. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in CID and related fields.
Work Environment:
- Location: Remote, Warner Robins, GA
- Travel Requirements: Moderate 20%- 50%
- Working Hours: Standard, Full time
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- 7-10+ years of military operational experience in Combat ID.
- Proven experience with NATO coordination and technical document development.
- In-depth knowledge of IFF and C2 systems.
- Experience in Air Traffic Control (ATC) and Air Operations environments.
- Significant experience with Operational Mode 5 (Mode 5) systems and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience with Electronic Keymat Handling procedures and security protocols.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

- 20+ years of military operational experience in Combat ID.
