Overview

**CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**

SOSi is seeking a highly qualified J unior Cybersecurity Specialist to support US Army requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Essential Job Duties

  • Assist in implementing and monitoring security measures for networks and information.
  • Help ensure security controls are functioning.
  • May assist in responding to basic security alerts.
  • Support the collection of information for compliance reporting.
  • Help track the status of security tasks.
  • Run basic vulnerability scans under supervision.
  • Assist with maintaining system registrations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or AA with 2+ years of experience, or high s chool w ith 4 y ear s of relevant experience.
  • An active in scope Secret security clearance .
  • DOD Cyber Work Force (DCWF) 461 Certs: CND or SSCP or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks.
  • A bility to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders .
  • Ability to follow processes, procedures, and direction to support client needs.

Work Environment

  • Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations.
  • Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 - 1700
  • May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
  • It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
