PROCESS AUTOMATION ENGINEER

PRISM is seeking a skilled Process Automation Engineer to join our team.


This role serves as a critical enabler for engineering teams by maintaining our DevOps infrastructure, integrating toolchains, and improving developer productivity through automation and standardization.
As part of our CI/CD Infrastructure Team, the administrator will work directly with developers, system engineers, and project teams to ensure seamless access to DevOps capabilities, improve pipeline efficiency, and enhance the reliability of build and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the client and engineering support teams to identify and quantify processes that may be automated.
  • Define cost-effective solutions for automation using Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence technology, and other common tools.
  • Create demos and presentations to show potential solution costs and benefits.
  • Implement automated solutions and conduct regular reviews to improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. An additional 2 years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • 9+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree; 7+ years with a Master's degree; or 12+ years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills:
  • Business process reengineering and Workflow Design Skills. Candidates must be able to describe how they identify and improve existing workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Power Automate and knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#. Candidates must provide evidence of workflows they have automated and improved.
  • Knowledge of REST API concepts, event management, and cross-tool connectivity. Candidates should understand how process tools may connect and share process event data.
  • Basic data analysis knowledge. SQL and AI skills are a plus.
  • Expertise in scripting and automation tools, specifically PowerShell.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Certifications (but not required):
  • Azure AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals
