Responsibilities include:
- Assimilate information quickly, communicate effectively, and remain organized in order to monitor progress toward the accomplishment of various taskings and initiatives.
- Use knowledge and understanding of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.2, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force to provide strategic and tactical program planning (short-term, mid-term, and long-term plans).
- Carry out program integration tasks such as developing, tracking, and updating integrated roadmaps and schedules for a large, multi-program portfolio.
- Work proactively, with minimal supervision, and effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation and shepherd them through the agreement process to include legal reviews (briefings, documents, plans, etc.).
- Use business management experience to track and inform portfolio expenditures, spend plan development, and build documentation to support financial requirements documents and processes.
- Use process improvement expertise to inform business operations, human relations, manpower, and internal resource utilization.
- Draft documents for the approval and signature of leadership.
- Coordinate, document, monitors, and supports a variety of meetings and conferences.
- Serve as a lead instructor for trainings to include building trainings on different models of agreements.
- Present professional Briefs to GO and above.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Technical Experience Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Current/Prior experience as a Program Manager with at least 3-5 years in DoD environment.
- Active Security Clearance required.
- BA/BS; PMP Certificate preferred.
