Position Description

The Senior Analyst, Regulatory Reporting will play a key role in supporting client delivery by designing, coordinating, and executing quality and regulatory reporting functions, primarily focused on CMS Hospital Quality Reporting and the Promoting Interoperability Program. This role will require close collaboration across internal teams, consultants, and healthcare facilities to align reporting requirements with strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and deep understanding of regulatory frameworks - including the Promoting Interoperability Program's objectives and measures - to promote safe, efficient, and compliant use of electronic health records (EHRs).

Type of Employment: 1099 Independent Contractor

Work Location/Travel: Remote, with occasional travel up to 10%; relocation not required

Salary Range: Based on experience - $75 - $90/Hr. Potential for Full time opportunity. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is highly competitive but dependent upon employment type (1099, contract, W2).

Role Reports to: Project Manager or Regulatory Reporting Lead

Direct Reports: This role has no direct reports

Responsibilities:

• Centralizes and standardizes the development, production, and distribution of reporting metrics to support federal quality and interoperability programs.

• Collaborates with internal Edera team members, external consultants, and client facilities to gather and verify data, manage deliverables, and maintain alignment with program goals.

• Communicates regularly with stakeholders to clarify objectives, timelines, and reporting needs.

• Collects and organizes audit materials to support attestation and regulatory review.

• Monitors and maintains engagement with public health registries and manages required credentials.

• Coordinates with technical teams to resolve EHR-related issues impacting reporting performance.

• Prepares and delivers presentations, dashboards, and detailed reports for internal and client leadership.

• Supports project planning, tracks milestones, and proactively identifies risks to timelines or quality of deliverables.

• Proficient in Promoting Intolerability Program objectives and measures, providing support to ensure the use of certified electronic health record technology.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of CMS Hospital Quality Reporting, Promoting Interoperability, and federal attestation processes

• Deep familiarity with the measures and objectives of Promoting Interoperability Program including (SAFER Guidelines, Electronic Prescribing, Health Information Exchange); demonstrated ability to assess and implement CEHRT compliance to ensure resilient and safe EHR usage

• Experience with a variety of EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, and Meditech

• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple facilities and organizations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences

• Proficient in organizing and managing documentation for compliance and audit readiness

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Education/Certification Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, health informatics, public health, or related field

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in healthcare quality or regulatory reporting

• Prior involvement in CMS attestation processes or Promoting Interoperability initiatives

• Experience coordinating with EHR vendors, technical teams, and external stakeholders

• Demonstrated application of SAFER Guidelines in a healthcare or health IT environment

• Background in navigating audit processes and producing evidence-based documentation

Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Familiarity with EHR data structures and common quality measurement tools
  • Experience with project tracking platforms such as Smartsheet, Jira, or similar tools
