Job Description
Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies Warfare Systems partners with the DoD and defense innovation ecosystem to rapidly acquire and field critical and emerging technologies, particularly integrated communications, networking, and Systems-of-Systems (SoS) technologies, to enhance national security and warfighter capabilities. Through a multiagency contracting approach, the Collaborative Operations for Battlespace Resilient Architecture (COBRA) initiative focuses on advancing these technologies to achieve multi-domain battlespace integration and resilient command and control. This includes a broad range of services such as systems engineering, cybersecurity, operational integration, and data analytics, all aimed at modernizing communications and ensuring seamless information exchange for the DoD and its allies.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Implements and maintains SharePoint sites and applications to support the program information portal (NEXT), ensuring access, reliability, availability, and usability to current and new users. Develops new SharePoint sites/sub-sites, applications, and enhancements. Customizes sites, including security set-up, site structure design, and content maintenance. Integrates SharePoint with processes and workflows using SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio, e-mail alerts, data visualization, and relational database management. Builds custom forms using InfoPath, including integration with back-end databases. Creates reports, dashboards, and scorecards using Microsoft Excel, SQL Report Builder, Power Business Intelligence (BI), or similar technologies. Works with end users on portal development, including graphics, branding, layout, and navigations. Develops and integrates Task Order (TO) Management Portal. Performs portal maintenance operations.

- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Must possess an active Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Hands-on experience in software development in a team environment
- Proficiency with programming languages like Python, Java, or C++
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with secure coding practices
- Proficiency in modern languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
