Description:You will be the Supplier Quality Engineering Associate Manager for our team. Our team is responsible for developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, and procedures to ensure high-quality deliveries to customers.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Supplier Quality Engineering Associate Manager, you will lead a team of supplier quality engineers and drive process improvements to prevent issues and ensure customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to analyze and resolve process issues.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Reviewing documentation to ensure quality products are delivered
-Analyzing quality data to identify root causes and corrective actions
-Participating in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards
-Performing assessments and audits to ensure compliance
-Leading a team of supplier quality engineers and interfacing with customers and program personnel
-Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
-STEM degree at bachelors level or higher from an accredited college in one of the following disciplines: Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience/combined education.
-Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
-Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
-Quality engineering experience in developing and reviewing quality requirements, standards, procedures, methods, work instructions, and control plans.
-Experience performing Design/Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (D/PFMEA).
-Experience in product development, design for manufacturing (DFM), and transition to production.
-Demonstrated understanding of procedure compliance assessment, process audit, and product audit techniques.
-Ability to interpret drawings and specifications and industry standards.
-Understanding of inspection methods for electronic circuit cards and electro-mechanical assemblies.
-Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming product (Material Review Board).
-Experience leading cross-functional teams for root cause investigation, corrective action, and preventive action using tools like 8D, 5-Why, Fault Tree, PFD, FMEA, Standard Work, Control Plans, etc... and ability to collaboratively solve problems for improving design process, manufacturing process, and business process.
-Demonstrated understanding of AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
-Experience with performing First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements.
-Experience with supplier quality assurance/control.
-Experience working with US Government Department of Defense customers.
-Strong project management skills, with demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
-Effective interpersonal skills, including team building, risk identification, collaboration, problem solving, and presentations in hybrid working environments (remote and in office).
-Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Subcontracting, Program Management, Finance, suppliers, customers, and all other stakeholders.
-Proficient with Microsoft apps: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Project, Visio.
-Ability to travel up to 25%.
Desired Skills:
-STEM/Engineering Degree at Bachelors level or higher preferred
-Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
-Experience with source inspection and surveillance activities at suppliers.
-Process Engineering experience
-ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
-Advanced AS9100 Interpretation and application experience.
-Experience working with Government customers
-Effective communication skills - written, oral, listening and technical writing
-Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.
-Experience with process capability analysis and interpretation, gage R&R, measurement system analysis
-Earned Value Management System Control Account Manager (EVMS CAM) certification.
-Advanced experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.
