Description:We are Lockheed Martin
Industrial Engineers at Skunkworks Advanced Development Programs (ADP) operate in a fast-paced, agile, next-gen environment, and utilize the latest technology in PLM, MRP, MES, MOM, Discrete Event Simulation, Data Analytics, and Data Visualization Software to produce analysis' & metrics which enable imperative business decisions.
This position will provide data-driven solutions that enable the production team to optimize their manufacturing schedules and costs. Shop floor interaction with production operations team enable the IE to comprehend the manufacturing processes to provide data-driven deliverables to internal customers.
This position requires collaboration with all functional groups through the entire product lifecycle within an aerospace R&D environment. Candidate will have the opportunity to provide valuable solutions to multiple organizations and align program priorities.

This is a mid-career leadership opportunity where you will:
• Apply advanced Industrial Engineering concepts and techniques to analyze business processes and reduce waste.
• Interrogate data systems and look for opportunities to surface problems and drive improvements.
• Provide oversite shop floor support, including methods of creating crew plans, burn down charts and performance metrics to optimize production.
• Oversee process improvement efforts, ensuring implementation and sustainment while demonstrating results.
• Train stakeholders and team members on Industrial and Operations Engineering principles.
• Optimize organizational structure, team communication and skill proficiencies to maintain a high performing team.
• Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have the ability to obtain a secret level clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
• Production / Industrial Engineering experience in Aeronautics or Heavy Industry
• Experience leading teams and projects
• Experience developing, monitoring and/or reporting metrics related to cost and schedule performance
• Experience developing EAC Forecasts and/or Production Schedules and/or Resource Load Staffing Plans
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance per business requirements
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in an Industrial Engineering or STEM related discipline
• Industrial Engineering experience
• Leadership experience. Proven ability to maintain a high performing team. Ability to manage and resolve conflict.
• Experience with SAP, iBASEt, 3DX or Teamcenter
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices
• Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments
• Aircraft Production Experience and/or New Production Program Experience
• Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience. Understanding of S-Curves, Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI)
• Ability to construct PowerPoint presentation material and brief to senior leadership effectively

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
