The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.

KBR is seeking a highly motivated Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join the team in El Segundo, CA. The FSO is part of a talented security team that performs job responsibilities necessary to support the organization in all disciplines of the industrial security field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defining methods to accomplish tasks, develop schedules, and complete tasks on time.
- Defining, developing, and documenting new processes as the department and the company evolve.
- Leading teams and projects, providing leadership to more junior team members.
- Implementing the industrial security program and ensuring company and customer security requirements are met.
- Interfacing with all levels of department, division and government management personnel and maintaining the skills to cultivate relationships for optimal contract security performance.
Work Environment:
- Location: On-site
- Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
- Working Hours: Standard
Required Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Strong background and extensive experience in executing the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
- Experience in Safeguarding Classified Information.
- Knowledge of facility accreditation practices, particularly within the DoD
- Completed at least 40 hours of DCSA's Center for Development of Security Excellence (https://securityawareness.usalearning.gov/index.html)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to surge beyond normal business hours to provide support.
Scheduled Weekly Hours:
- 40 hours per week.
Basic Compensation:
- $110,000.00 - $165,000.00 annually.
