This position is in Norfolk, VA. The Supply Technician will be working on-site as well as traveling with a team member. This is a full-time, salaried position. Perform a variety of warehousing duties, which require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan.
Inventory Management:
* Minimum of 5 years experience in property management
* Maintain accurate inventory records using DPAS database inventory system.
* Conduct real-time audits for inventory accountability.
* Organize and label inventory items logically to facilitate easy identification, retrieval, and stock rotation.
General Warehouse Duties:
* Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping, removing debris, and organizing storage areas.
* Always adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to established safety procedures.
* Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices to optimize warehouse operations.
Vehicle Operations:
* Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack to safely and efficiently move and transport pallets of equipment and supplies within the warehouse and facility.
Requirements:
* Must have a Secret security clearance.
* Must have a valid US Passport.
* Must have a valid Driver's license.
* Must be able to travel 70 - 80% of the year, within the United States and Outside of the United States
* Must pass a pre-employment background and drug screening.
Qualifications:
* Must be able to provide proof of US citizenship.
* Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more when required.
* Required to properly wear personal protective equipment when necessary.
* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft, Windows, Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
* Basic math and computer skills.
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (customer relations).
* High School Diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) Certificate.
