MicroHealth is seeking an experienced System Administrator II to join our team. This role involves deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting server operating systems and related infrastructure, with a focus on ensuring system security, integrity, and availability.
*Secret Clearance required
Responsibilities:
Deploy, sustain, and troubleshoot server operating systems and related infrastructure
Administer day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security, and availability of infrastructure platforms
Perform daily system backups and verify their integrity
Monitor system performance and conduct capacity analysis
Maintain security posture of infrastructure systems
Create and maintain standard operating procedures and documentation
Develop maintenance guides and knowledge base articles
Respond to and resolve infrastructure-related incidents
Collaborate with IT team members to ensure system reliability
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
4+ years of progressive experience in system administration
Active Secret clearance
Current DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II certification
CompTIA Security +
CCNA
CySA +
GSEC
SSCP
CND
Experience with Cyber Workforce Qualification and Management Program
Strong knowledge of server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux)
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee may lift or move objects up to 5 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
