Full-Time | Schedule : 9x80 (Every Other Friday Off)

Moseley Technical Services is seeking a Senior Staff Systems Engineer to support the Ground Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS). The successful candidate will perform Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tasks in direct support of the program's Ground System Segment (GSS) Integrated Product Team (IPT)

Moseley Technical Services is seeking a Senior Staff Systems Engineer to support the Ground Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS). The successful candidate will perform Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tasks in direct support of the program's Ground System Segment (GSS) Integrated Product Team (IPT)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain system architecture models and interface definitions to support the Ground System Segment (GSS) of the GMD Weapon System
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment to support software verification, generate system-and segment level test procedures, and ensure compliance with program requirements
- Conduct detailed requirements analysis and ensure proper allocation, verification, and validation of system requirements across the program
- Provide engineering support for program-level reviews, technical interchange meetings, and risk/issue resolution related to system design and implementation
- Support the development and fielding of command and control systems for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), including Ground Launch, Ground and Flight Test, and Maintenance systems
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation, presentations, and system design reviews while ensuring alignment with best practices and program objectives
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM related field
- Experience:
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in requirements development, decomposition, software verification generating system and segment-level test procedures
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Proficiency with Atlassian tool suite (Jira and Confluence)
- Working knowledge of Cameo and DOORS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance preferred
- Experience developing and fielding command and control systems (Ground Launch, Ground and Flight Test, Maintenance, etc) for Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs
- Advanced knowledge and practical application of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools
