Responsibilities:
- Supports DAO SOUTHCOM IT operations, including, training, transport services, land mobile radio, SATCOM, troubleshooting and logistics services
- Manages warehouse operations and physical IT assets, tracking and storing equipment appropriately
- Oversees personnel security and coordinates compliance with USSOUTHCOM security policies and procedures
- Manages the U.S. Department of State (DoS) diplomatic pouch system, coordinating deliveries and shipments
- Supports special event services and coordinates logistics for high-priority operations
- Provides country/location-specific services within the USSOUTHCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR)
- Coordinates physical security services for IT assets, security logs, and related infrastructure
- Deploys, installs, configures, and maintains IT hardware, software, and network systems in support of field operations
- Provides Tier I/II technical support for deployed users and mission systems
- Performs diagnostics and corrective maintenance on laptops, servers, switches, radios, and other fielded systems
- Coordinates with engineering teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
- Documents system configurations, maintenance actions, and service calls per program standards
- Supports system upgrades, patching, and integration efforts during deployments
- Maintains accountability and tracking of deployed equipment and assets
- Adheres to security, safety, and operational procedures during travel and deployment
Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree in Information Technology , Electronics or related filed
- 4-9 years of experience in IT field services or electronics maintenance
- Ability and willingness to travel more than 51% of the time to CONUS and OCONUS locations including austure environments
- Experience with hardware and software installation, diagnostics, and repair
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, switches , routers, VLANs)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- U.S. Passport and the ability to obtain deployment s clearances and medical requirements
Desired:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Experience supporting tactical or deployable systems in military environments
- Familiarity with SATCOM, radio systems, or ruggedized IT equipment
- Former military or defense contractor experience
- Familiarity with DoD NATO standards for system deployment
- CompTIA A+ certification
- CompTIA A+ certification
Clearance:
- TS/SCI clearance required
Certification:
- DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role
- CompTIA Security+ CE
Location:

- Travel may be required based on operational requirements
