Mechanical Engineer (Secret clearance required)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a permanent role supporting the US Army in Albany, Georgia. This is a fully on-site role.

*This position requires an active Secret clearance

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer:

· Support infrastructure development and construction projects

· Perform technical assessments and analysis

· Recommend engineering solutions in support of facilities and weapons systems

· Ensure production goals are satisfied

· Work hands-on with heavy machinery

Requirements for the Mechanical Engineer:

· Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field

· Active Secret clearance

· Proficiency in CAD software such as Solidworks, AutoCAD or other

· Strong knowledge in materials, thermodynamic, fluid mechanics, structural analysis

· Experience with mechanical testing and failure analysis on heavy machinery

Compensation for the Mechanical Engineer:

· Annual salary: $100,000-115,000, depending on experience
