POSITION SUMMARY
Aleut is seeking experienced professionals to support multiple staff positions within Mission Delta 3 and Space Operations Command (SpOC) in Colorado Springs, CO. These critical roles provide high-level support to U.S. Space Force missions, requiring technical expertise and staff-level operational experience. Personnel will provide subject matter expertise across planning, operations, and strategy; support operational readiness and capability development; collaborate with leadership at Mission Delta 3 and SpOC, and engage in high-impact work supporting U.S. Space Force missions.
The focus of this position is to provide data-based analysis, coordination, and reporting to illuminate tradeoffs and optimize the collective SDA provisions from contributing, non-traditional, commercial, and international sensors.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide staff support for Non-traditional and International systems. Systems include but are not limited to: MIT/LL sensors, Air Force AMOS, Canada's Sapphire satellite, and other non-traditional and international sensors.
- Provide staff support for the integration of Commercial SDA sensors.
- Ensure data interoperability, fusion and analysis with current USSF SDA databases.
- Support coordination and/or participation in upgraded/modifications, Design Reviews, Program Management Reviews, Requirements Strategies, Deficiency Reporting, Operational Acceptance, Concept of Operations, Test and Evaluations, Training Readiness, and Exercise support/coordination.
- Develop briefings and point papers to address issues in support of system upgrades, deficiency reports, HQ USSF, HAF, SAF concerning OT&E, OAP, or other tasks.
- Communicate and coordinate the above staff processes with and through CSPOC, NSDC, SpOC, SSC, NRO, USSF Staff, HAF, SAF, OSD and others as needed and when applicable.
- Participate in meetings to include but is not limited to: Operational Approval Panels (OAPs), SST working groups, readiness reviews, configuration and control, weapon system-specific meetings for sustainment, upgrades, and other working groups as needed.
- Work with Force Design and Advanced Concepts to participate/observe experiences for provider discovery such as NSDCs Advanced Concepts Experimentation (NACE), SDAs Tools Applications and Processing (TAP) Lab, NSDCs Live Fire demonstrations, and others
- Work with operators and weapon systems units on optimization, sustainment, DRs, and future needs.
EDUCATION/TRAINING
- Minimum: High School Diploma
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
EXPERIENCE
- Seven or more years operations experience in one or more of the following weapon systems MIT/LL sensors (Program 1800), Air Force Maui Optical and Supercomputing (AMOS) site, Canada's Sapphire satellite system, and other non-traditional and international sensors.
- Two or more years' experience in other USSF mission sets / disciplines - e.g., SEW, SatC2, Missile Warning, SATCOM, SDA in either operational or staff capacities.
- Two or more years' experience in staff position at Wing/Delta or higher.
- Knowledge of SpOC space superiority units/missions/weapon systems.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This is an onsite position that requires work to be performed onsite in Colorado Springs, CO.
- Indoor office working conditions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to perform repetitive keyboard tasks and associated motions for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to carry up to 10 pounds.
SALARY RANGE
- $129,000.00 -- $149,000.00 (annual) depending on qualifications
