The role is responsible for receiving and validating new resource requests, ensuring completeness of request information, and assigning missions to the appropriate branch.

Position Summary:
Applied Training Solutions, LLC is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to support mission processing and coordination within the State Emergency Response Team (SERT). The role is responsible for receiving and validating new resource requests, ensuring completeness of request information, and assigning missions to the appropriate branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and review new resource requests submitted through WebEOC
- Validate that each request contains sufficient information for processing
- Follow up with requestors to obtain missing or unclear details
- Assign missions to the appropriate SERT branch for action
- Track request status and maintain up-to-date records in WebEOC
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of requests
- Support operational reporting and situational awareness as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of work experience in a mission coordination or emergency operations role
- Familiarity with WebEOC functionality
- Familiarity with Florida's Emergency Response System
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail in data entry and review
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Must be a U.S. citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs) or related emergency response settings
- Knowledge of ICS and SERT operations
- Experience with incident resource coordination systems
