Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain AWS cloud services, including provisioning and managing EC2, S3, IAM, and RDS instances.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and support Linux and Windows server operating systems, ensuring system integrity, performance tuning, and patch compliance.
- Manage enterprise database systems, including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle, and ensure proper integration, backup, and monitoring practices.
- Lead administration and support of business intelligence tools, with emphasis on WebFOCUS or equivalent platforms used for enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with developers, data analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure systems are secure, optimized, and aligned with business and security requirements.
- Automate system processes and improve operational efficiency through scripting or orchestration tools.
- Maintain and update documentation for system configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Support audit readiness, system upgrades, disaster recovery planning, and cloud migration efforts.
Required Skills:
- Must possess active DoD Top Secret with a Poly
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with:
- AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, IAM, and RDS.
- Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Enterprise database systems such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
- 5+ years of experience managing WebFOCUS or similar Business Intelligence (BI) platforms.
- Demonstrated experience with:
- System installation, configuration, and patch management
- Performance tuning and infrastructure optimization
- Backup and disaster recovery operations
- Maintaining IT security and compliance through SOPs and audits
- Configuration documentation and asset tracking
Desired Skills:
- Experience supporting federal systems, classified networks, or secure data centers
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or higher.
