Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) with demonstrated success in developing and achieving organizational and program objectives. This is an individual contributor role who will be able to exert influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the program and the program IPT team. The MPM role requires the ability to successfully interface with all levels of internal management. This position will focus heavily on supplier sourcing and strategies to ensure success in a new franchise program area. The MPM will help develop and communicate the overall objectives and long-range goals of the program and the program IPT team. This role will be the primary point of contact for management and internal customers which include the Program Office, Quality, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Contracts.
What You Will Do
Support the Cost Account Manager (CAM) for material & labor, monthly LRE's, sales forecasting, and quarterly EAC's
Assist with developing sourcing strategies for new cutting-edge technology
Monitor and proactively act to address performance and financial metrics including those related to cost, schedule, quality and EVM.
Responsible for financial tasks related to material including developing and tracking budgets, targets, working capital, initiating & maintaining accurate sales forecasts, short-range outlooks (SRO), material EACs, sales and operating Plans and Annual Operating Plans (AOP).
Flow down Program Requirements and Supplier Management Best Practices to suppliers which include risk mitigation and subcontract management plans.
Collaborate with other EOIR programs to maximize efficiency of program execution
Execute make/buy/where process
Guide multiple functions on developing Supplier Statement of Work (SSOWs) and ensuring adherence to RTX policies
Develop and execute material program plans (MPP) and subcontract management plans (together with the Acquisition Professional)
Liaise between the Program Executive, Program Managers, IPTs and the Supply Chain organization
Represent the Supply Chain organization on policies, strategies, and objectives
Oversee all SCM activities needed to meet program requirements, and ensure a strong link between and between various Supply Chain functions, including Sourcing, Logistics, and Production Control
Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to create a common schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
Monitor performance metrics and proactively address program and functional issues
Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives
Implement continuous improvement, CORE or Lean methodologies/principals
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Minimum 6 years experience in material program management, project management, supply chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, and/or Quality functions.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience using SAP
Earned Value Management (EVM) certification or equivalent
Supplier management experience (PO placement, proposal reviews, Best Value Source Selections, Competition)
Working knowledge of US Government acquisition laws and regulations (FAR/DFARS, ITAR, EAR)
Supply chain experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
