Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Providing procurement support related to procedural aspects of all contract phases; utilizing procurement and contract automated systems to generate reports, conduct searches and make corrections; reviewing contract and procurement documents for accuracy; AND preparing procurement documents in final form in accordance with procurement procedures and regulations.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NK-1/GS-04).
OR
Education: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Additional information
- Assist administrators in negotiating changes and prepares modifications on routine matters.
- Provide technical support to customers by preparing contractual documentation on procurement actions.
- Ensure requirement packages are accurate and complete, using established checklists and procurement knowledge.
- Prepares procurement management reports by gathering and consolidating pertinent information.
Conditions of employment
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
- Term employment is subject to a one-year trial period. Employees serving a trial period can be removed with limited appeal rights.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
