Job Overview:
XPECT Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Developer to join our team supporting of our Federal Customer in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of Audio/Visual (A/V) coding solutions that enhance mission-critical systems for our government clients. As part of a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you’ll work closely with the technical leads to implement software features, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration of AV technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your skills while supporting national priorities through innovative software development.
Core Responsibilities:
- Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them.
- Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
- Assist in development of software user manuals and other documentation
- Responsible for desktop design, testing, and security lockdown implementation,
- Integration with standard software packages, integration with automated patching and deployment technologies, and documentation,
- Assist in the development of training aids to include automating application and configuration deployments updates
Requirements:
- Active Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI
- Minimum of 1 year experience; A/V Certification may be substituted for experience
