Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our manufacturing processes and equipment. This role requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, along with expertise in various engineering tools and methodologies. The Reliability Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing product quality, optimizing processes, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties
Develop and implement reliability strategies to improve product performance and reduce failure rates.
Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and develop corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing processes through effective project scheduling.
Utilize AutoCAD or similar program for designing tooling and fixtures that support production efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data and identifying areas for enhancement.
Maintain documentation of reliability assessments, project schedules, and engineering changes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred.
Experience with tooling design and implementation in a factory setting.
Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar programs
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform detailed analysis.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
