We are seeking a dynamic Cloud Engineer specializing in endpoint management to enhance the Nautilus experience for the U.S. Navy. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure endpoint solutions across diverse platforms while ensuring compliance with military standards and security requirements. The position includes Cloud and Endpoint management using Microsoft Azure services with a focus on secure designs and solutions. The candidate must be well versed in Multi-Platform support focused on Windows 11 interacting with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu and MacOS.
The candidate will need to have good communication skills; both written and verbal skills will be considered. The position requires writing documents, emails, memos, status reports and completing forms as part of their daily tasks. Essential skills are writing engineering documentation and user instructions for the solutions you have engineered. Occasional PowerPoint presentations (or other presentation media) will be needed. The candidate will need to work well with others on the End User Services team as well as cross functional teams in the IT space.
The candidate must have 3+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Service with an emphasis on Intune for endpoint management. Other skills desired include DOD STIG standards and implementation, Windows 11 deployment and management, Linux Engineering Experience (RHEL/Ubantu) and MacOS Enterprise Management. Professional requirements include an understanding of Enterprise Network functionality and basic security principles, experience with PowerShell, Bash and automation tools, familiarity with ITIL framework and Agile Sprint methodology.
Education and professional requirements include: College degree and 5 years professional experience is preferred. Other experiences will be considered. Active Secret clearance or held a Secret Clearance in good standing in the last 2 years. Must have a security certificate in good standing or aquire one in the first 60 days of employment to comply with DOD 8140 (Security +, CISSP, etc). Microsoft Azure Certifications, OS Certifications, DOD IT experience and knowledge of Container technologies are a plus. Ability to get a Top Secret Clearance will be considered.
