ABOUT THE TEAM
Anduril is fielding the next generation of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) to tackle the extremely challenging industry demands of seabed exploration. Anduril has brought to the market a unique, ultra-long-range, full-ocean-depth platform, and a completely refreshed maritime vehicle and flexible manufacturing architecture that scales from "large" to "extra-large" vehicle sizes. Today, Anduril is executing on multi-million-dollar contracts while simultaneously performing Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) AUV operations.
The Supply Chain team is responsible for supporting strategic sourcing initiatives and planning in pursuit of manufacturing goals to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets at our greenfield facility in Quonset, Rhode Island.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our rapidly growing team in Quonset, RI. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of buyers who will maintain supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, and ensuring parts are delivered on time. You will support engineering and manufacturing teams with the development and execution of sourcing strategy.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
US Salary Range
$111,000 - $147,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package. You will support engineering and manufacturing teams with the development and execution of sourcing strategy.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Procurement execution and programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Monitor and report key performance indicators in regard to performance to plan
- Interact with suppliers and monitor delivery and contract performance
- Collaborate with engineering & manufacturing to support design for manufacturability and supply chain optimization
- Identify and execute cost reduction projects
- Lead cross functional collaboration to implement procurement best practices and provide support and guidance through all stages of the procurement cycle
- Assure material availability for production by proactively managing suppliers and inventory levels to prevent shortages and production delays
- Oversee the maintenance of inventory accuracy, implementing controls and regular audits to minimize variances and ensure the integrity of stock data
- Place purchase orders and resolve downstream issues with receiving, finance, and accounting
- Maintain procurement-related master data in the ERP system
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5+ years of supply chain experience in progressive roles, with 2+ years of people leadership experience
- Strong project and people management skills with ability to multi-task effectively while dealing with changing priorities.
- Experience with technical procurement
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to read drawings and blueprints
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
- Familiarity with leading ERP systems such as Oracle or NetSuite
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
- Experienced with FAR/DFAR
