Position Overview:
OTS is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Systems Engineer to join our growing team. This role supports an active contract and is responsible for the installation, configuration, and initial testing of both system hardware and software components.
You will provide technical expertise, and systems support for a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Air Operations Center (AOC) program. Under the direction of the Chief Systems Engineer, you will follow established engineering processes to support system documentation, integration, testing, and verification activities.

As a Systems Engineer, you will:
- Install and configure system-level software (e.g., operating systems, device drivers, enterprise applications) on servers, desktops, and embedded systems.
- Perform pre-installation checks to verify hardware and software compatibility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software installation and configuration issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, support, and project management to meet deployment milestones and technical requirements.
- Maintain clear, detailed documentation of installation procedures, system configurations, and software updates.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in a similar role
- Experience working in Secure Computing Environments and with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
- Understanding of Red/Black separation requirements
- Ability and willingness to travel both CONUS and OCONUS (up to 30%)
- Strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to collaborate in cross-functional engineering teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Operations Centers or Command Centers
- Familiarity with Command and Control (C2) systems for the U.S. Air Force
- Experience with C4I systems, including: Audio/Visual systems, Access Control / Intrusion Detection Systems (ACS/IDS), Voice communications, Link 16, Ground-Based Air Defense (GBAD)
