Volt is immediately hiring for a Systems Engineer, which is onsite to HUNTSVILLE, AL, San Diego, California, Woburn, Massachusetts
What You Will Do
Analyzing radar system performance data with respect to requirements
Identifying performance deficiencies and proposing solutions
Defining and prototyping new algorithms to enhance system performance
Presenting plans, designs and system performance to peers, internal leadership, and external customers
Providing subject matter expertise to agile software development teams to ensure proper implementation of requirements
You will be completing the above responsibilities in one or more capability areas including:
Electronic Protection, signal processing, applied mathematics
Hypersonic threat defense
Tracking, discrimination, search, and battle manager interfaces
Radar calibration, diagnostics, deployed site support
Modeling and simulation of tactical software
This is a 12 Month Contract or Contract to hire
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
Qualifications You Must Have:
Experience in system performance analysis, algorithm development, modeling & simulation, or support to fielded systems
Qualifications We Prefer
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to develop technical solutions.
Background in system-level requirements and software architecture.
Knowledge of radar system concepts (detection, tracking, signal processing).
Experience with MATLAB, C/C++, Java, or DOORS.
Familiarity with AI/ML in signal processing and algorithm development.
Understanding of BMC4I systems or military radar systems.
Prior military experience and/or experience interfacing with defense customers is a plus.
Pay Rate:- $90- $107/hr.
