Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level Network Engineer to support the administration, maintenance, and
optimization of enterprise networks. The role requires hands-on technical expertise and collaboration with
system engineers, software architects, and security teams to develop, integrate, and support reliable
IT/network solutions across the lifecycle of operations.
Key Responsibilities
● Provide operational support for routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and intrusion detection
devices.
● Assist in the configuration, deployment, and monitoring of LAN/WAN systems.
● Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to maintain high availability and performance.
● Analyze customer requirements and support the development of integrated network solutions.
● Participate in system analyses, performance trade-offs, and requirements development.
● Implement network connectivity solutions, including VPNs, firewall contexts, and load balancing.
● Support proactive monitoring of network devices, servers, and services to minimize downtime.
● Conduct research to enhance technical knowledge and apply emerging best practices.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operations.
● Document configurations, updates, and operational reports.
Qualifications
● Active Top Secret (TS) clearance.
● Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
● 6–8 years of experience in network engineering (preferably 8 years).
,● Hands-on experience with networking hardware and tools (Cisco, Dell, Palo Alto, IDS/IPS).
● Strong understanding of LAN/WAN operations, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
● Familiarity with network monitoring tools and proactive issue resolution.
● Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
