On-Site Staff Physical Therapist

Location: Fairfax Ambulatory Care Clinic, Fairfax, Virginia Schedule: Full-Time-Monday-Friday Schedule Compensation: Top-Tier Salary

Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college of Physical Therapy, or a Bachelor of Science Degree with certification
• License: Have and maintain a valid unrestricted license in one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience within the preceding 3 years.
• Have and maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
• Be a US citizen
• Shall be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other staff memebers
• Have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in the use of basic word processing data entry, and automated records

• Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction and enhance physical and functional abilitiies
• Restore, maintain, and promote not only optimal physical function but optimal wellness and fitness and optimal quaility of life as it relates to neuro-musculoskeletal health
• Prevent the onset symptoms, and progression of impairments, functional limitations and disabilities that may result from diseases, disorders, conditions, or imjuries
• Orthopedic clinic treating ages 15-64 active duty service members, retirees and their family members
