Responsibilities
- This mechanic will be required to troubleshoot and repair circuit cards down to the individual component level and replace board components.
- Individual must be familiar with the operation of electronic test equipment, to include, but not limited to: Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Audio/RF Generator, RF Meter, Frequency Counter, etc.
- Will repair aviation electronic and avionics equipment to include receivers, transmitters, amplifiers, control heads, MFCU grips, and other components.
- Individual will read and interpret schematics, maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and methods of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
- This mechanic will perform administrative actions for aircraft forms and records on systems being utilized by the customer such as ACN, GCSS-Army, and Hydra applications.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance.
- Service school training as 15N/94E or equivalent training.
- Must have own tools/toolbox.
- 6+ years' experience in Army aviation. SOF aviation experience desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret schematics and IETMs.
- Experience with ACN or other electronic logbook systems.
- Experience using multi-meters and other electronics test equipment.
- Must have or be able to certify in both Basic and Advanced solder certification.
- Must be able to pass solder vision testing.
