We are seeking an experienced Microsoft SCCM & Intune SME to lead and support our client endpoint management infrastructure. This role is responsible for the design, deployment, optimization, and support of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Intune (MEM), including co-management, patching, software distribution, compliance, and device lifecycle management.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure secure, stable, and efficient end-user device management.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Microsoft SCCM & Intune SME : $125k- $145k

Pay commensurate with experience.

Microsoft SCCM & Intune SME Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft SCCM environment including site servers, distribution points, and management points.
  • Design, deploy, and administer Microsoft Intune for MDM and MAM.
  • Implement and manage Co-Management between SCCM and Intune for hybrid environments.
  • Oversee patch management and software updates using SCCM, Intune, and Patch My PC integration.
  • Manage Extended Security Updates (ESU) for legacy Windows systems.
  • Configure and enforce compliance, security baselines, and endpoint policies.
  • Perform OS deployment (OSD), task sequence management, and driver/package updates.
  • Integrate and maintain Qualys for vulnerability scanning and remediation coordination.
  • Write and automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting.
  • Maintain GPOs (Group Policy Objects) aligned with Intune policy migration and modern management.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and deployment standards.
  • Collaborate with Helpdesk, Infrastructure, and Security teams to ensure device compliance and security posture.
  • Provide SME-level support, troubleshooting, and mentorship to the desktop engineering and support teams.


Microsoft SCCM & Intune Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred and 4 years of experience in a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft SCCM / MECM administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.
  • Proven experience in Co-Management, Autopilot, and modern device management.
  • Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 lifecycle, servicing channels, and feature update management.
  • Experience deploying third-party patches using Patch My PC.
  • Familiarity with Qualys or other vulnerability management tools.
  • Experience managing ESU (Extended Security Updates) and compliance for EOL operating systems.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation, reporting, and system maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of GPO management and migration to Intune policies.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Must pass the pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
