Data Engineer III

MBA Consulting Services, Inc. (MBA CSi) provides staff augmentation services to the US Postal Service. We have the need for a Senior Data Engineer to support the Software Engineering organization. The resource must be have the ability and knowledge of the following:

• Ability to generate system functional and technical requirements for development and implementation.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process management for Mail Processing Operation Technologies (OT).
• Ability to assess system/application architecture and recommend design modifications for implementation to improve performance, streamline downstream system interfaces, and reduce costs.
• Ability to document system/application design, business logics and rules, as well as system architecture that can be leveraged for future modification implementation.
• Experience with and knowledge of DevSecOps processes, GITUB, CO-pilot, Secure coding practices and Enterprise Build processes.
• Experienced in developing solutions using Oracle database, PL-SQL, store packages, stored procedures and other related functions.
• Knowledge of software development utilizing ASP.NET, JAVA, C#, Oracle.

Minimum Experience Required: Requires at least 8 years of experience in the field or a related field.

Minimum Education Required: Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related area or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.

Preferred Skills

• SQL or other structured query languages

• Experienced with querying and exploring databases

• US Postal or mailing industry experience
