We’re seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to design, prototype, and deploy defense biotech systems. You’ll own projects from concept to field testing, build and validate PCBs, develop sensing and power subsystems, and integrate electronics into rugged, field systems. The ideal engineer works well in fast-paced environments, has experience with edge computing platforms, low-power designs, and ruggedized electronics.
Responsibilities:
Design and prototype PCBs (rigid, flex, and rigid-flex) from schematic to layout
Build and test breadboard circuits and early prototypes
Validate and debug hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and related tools
Develop and test circuits for sensing, actuation, and power management
Collaborate with mechanical and systems engineers on integrated hardware builds
Preferred Tools & Experience:
KiCad or Altium, oscilloscopes, SPI/I2C/UART interfaces, NVIDIA Jetson, STM32, C/C++, Python, and RTOS environments.
